The 1st La Laguna International Nature and Mankind Film Festival, Naturman, is more than a film festival. It is an event that will last for more than a month and which will provide a space in which to discover the numerous ways in which man and nature interact. It goes beyond the boundaries of the screen to bring together filmmakers, all manner of collectives, companies and nature lovers.

This is why, ever since we heard that it was going to take place this month of May in La Laguna, we decided that we should get in touch, to explore ways in which we might be able to collaborate. We could not have hoped for a better response and straightaway we signed a collaboration agreement and got down to work.

The festival is going to help us by spreading the word about what we do. Before every screening, the audience will be able to see the videos we have put together: the video that tells the story of how we got our name, and the video of the #Coronaforestal2013 tree planting. We will also be giving one of the chats that are being scheduled during the festival week, and we’ll be talking about sustainability, living, and leaving a positive footprint.

At the same time, within the framework of the festival, we have been collaborating with the artist ziREjA in  collecting rubbish in the Mesa Mota mountain in Tenerife on the 26th of April last, coordinating the activity and putting over our philosophy of living and leaving a positive footprint on the world.

We invite you to have a look at the Naturman programme and to attend the numerous screenings and activities that are going to be: films, documentaries, screenings under the light of the stars, excursions to museums, chats and exhibitions. An intense week in which to delve deeper into our relationship with nature.
